3D Modelling
CET has a strong mechanical background both in engineering and CAD design. We use the following the following CAD packages and systems
- Autodesk AUTOCAD for 2D Details drawings, PFD’s, and P&ID’s.
- Autodesk INVENTOR for Equipment, Platforms, Materials Handling and Piping
- Autodesk Plant 3D for piping design
- ISOGEN for extracting isometrics from piping models from Plant 3D and INVENTOR
- NAVISWORKS for 3D viewing, construction coordination, and clash detection within buildings
- This inlcudes coordination of mechanical, electrical, process, equipment and architectural models drawn in various packages from vendors and other project contractors
- Point Tools for converting laser scanned images of existing equipment to 2D and 3D models, to save on site measuring
- 3ds Max for rendering and making 3D models and animations for marketing , llustration and client consultation
